First let's talk about what we are not. Here at The Hearth, we are not about which religion or tradition is better or older, whether one is hereditary, solitary, or part of a coven, is new or has years of experience... At the Hearth, all Pagans are honored and respected.
The Hearth Witches are Wiccan, so some of the current documentation available in The Library is Wiccan in nature. We feel the basic concepts and ideas for festival celebrations, consecration, charging, casting, and spellwork can be beneficial regardless of tradition. Other staff members are Druid. Our contributors are, and will be, from all walks of Pagan life. All are welcome at The Hearth. Our intention is to offer as much information as possible on as many topics as possible.
We feel Faith is very personal and how one practices and expresses it should come from within. This is why you will not find spell kits or cookie-cutter spells at AWH. We provide information and suggestions to help guide in the writing of one's own spells, creating one's own rituals and traditions, and to help each Pagan find their own unique voice.
To our way of thinking, education is a powerful thing and the broader one's understanding, the more open is their heart and mind.
